Promotes Jewish special education and inclusion programs, family support, teacher training, and public awareness of learning and developmental differences. Serves children with learning disabilities, ADD, developmental disabilities, Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, and other neurological, educational, and physical disabilities. Offers a special program for Iranian families with activities and materials in Farsi. One of ten US regional training sites for Dr. Mel Levine's "Schools Attuned" teacher training program.

Anonymously supports needy Jewish families in the Los Angeles Jewish community, one person at a time — over 350 families assisted.

Has provided Jewish children in Los Angeles with caring adult mentors for over 100 years. Offers free, one-to-one mentoring for Jewish boys and girls ages 6 and up — for children facing social or emotional challenges, being raised by single parents, living with siblings who have special needs, or seeking additional enrichment and support. Also runs Camp Bob Waldorf on the Max Straus Campus.
